Scientific Validation

BYOSOM OECD / Eurostat Oslo Recognition

In February 2025, BYOSOM participated in a national innovation evaluation process conducted by an official innovation agency.

The project underwent independent scientific and methodological assessment under the OECD / Eurostat Oslo Manual framework and was classified as a global-level innovation.

This evaluation focused on methodological soundness, system constraints, and scientific integrity rather than market positioning.

Independent Clinical Validation

Throughout early 2026, BYOSOM’s formulations underwent independent evaluation conducted by GBA Polska, an accredited cosmetics research laboratory, through dermatologist-supervised studies on women aged 35–55 over four-week application periods.

Dermatologist-supervised testing across four formulations

Four formulations were assessed — an anti-aging serum and cream, an antioxidant cream, a brightening serum and a ceramide barrier cream. Each study evaluated skin tolerance and performance under standardized methodology, with the anti-aging set additionally measured using clinical-grade instruments (Corneometer®, Cutometer®, Visioscan® and Visioline®).

Instrumental results: anti-aging serum & cream

Instrumental measurement of the anti-aging set recorded a 50% increase in skin hydration one hour after a single application, a 28% increase after four weeks, 13% smoother skin, 11% improved firmness, 9% improved elasticity and an 8% reduction in wrinkle depth.

Results across all four studies

Across all four studies, participants confirmed improvements in hydration, smoothness, firmness and overall skin appearance, with no irritation, redness or allergic reaction observed in any participant.

Testing standards and compliance

Testing was conducted under EU Cosmetics Regulation (EC) 1223/2009 and the Declaration of Helsinki.
